Superstars spotlight sustainable fashion

2017 has seen a growth in celebrity support of sustainable fashion, which has included some of our fabulous Redress Design Award alumni.

A truly unique piece from Kévin Germanier’s latest collection made of hundreds of up-cycled beads destined for landfills was worn by legendary Bjork to promote her new album Utopia, and another worn by singer-songwriter Betsy at Pride in London. R&B Singer RAY BLK was also spotted wearing rocking alumni Katie Jones’ double denim LOVE set in her recent ‘My Hood’ music video for COLORS.

Redress ambassador Kate Tsui continues to raise the profile for sustainable fashion here in Asia, wearing designs by 2017 finalists Claire Dartigues and Lina Mayorga, and alumni brand Alex Leau in a fashion spread for Jessica HK’s November issue.

Kate also was spotted wearing Absurd Laboratory and Candle Ray Torreverde at overseas events!

Livia Firth, sustainability activist and Founder and Creative Director of EcoAge, wore the The R Collective’s Trailblazer jacket – created by design duo Kévin Germanier and Victor Chu.
