A fashion revolution in recycled materials

In late February, EcoChic Design Award 2014/15 semi-finalist Katie Jones was invited to take part in a new programme called the Salon Series at Spring restaurant, Somerset House which launched with a session led by up-cycling queen (and long-time EcoChic Design Award judge) Orsola de Castro. Also joining the discussion, which focused on reusability in fashion and what people can do to promote and engage in local and less intensive habits of consumerism, were Maria Nishio, Senior lecturer at Central Saint Martins and Tamsin Blanchard, author and fashion features editor at Tank.
