Farrah Floyd continues to gain international recognition
EcoChic Design Award alumni Bojana Draça has been celebrating international recognition with her sustainable fashion brand Farrah Floyd. In October 2016, she head to Manila in the Philippines to take part in the Fast Fashion Exhibition curated by Dr. Claudia Banz of the Museum of Arts and Crafts Hamburg. The interactive exhibition focused on the dark side of fast fashion and its effect on the world, and her Farrah Floyd collection was highlighted as a green alternative for fashion in a special section called “Slow Fashion Lab”.
Returning home, in December 2016, Bojana celebrated a design collaboration with visual artist Heiner Radau at an event at Studio 183. On display were Heiner’s prints, and Farrah Floyd’s AW16 collection which included an exclusive selection of zero-waste womenswear designs fabricated with beautiful hand-printed pieces by Heiner.
Next, in February 2017, Bojana presented Farrah Floyd’s SS17 collection and the brand’s sustainable design strategies to the delegation of German Federal Ministry for Economic Development during Grüne Woche (Green Week) in Berlin Germany, an annual international trade fair with a focus on sustainability. Farrah Floyd focuses on the zero-waste design technique and is made in Germany.
