Our fifth competition cycle expanded to include ten Asian and European regions. We were proud to have received strong support from fashion designers, academic institutions, private sector and the media. We held two press conferences, over 20 lectures, one seminar, one workshop and a touring international exhibition. The Grand Final fashion show of ten emerging fashion designers’ sustainable collections rocked and shocked our 500-packed HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week industry audience. The prizes were to design a sustainable collection for China´s leading luxury brand Shanghai Tang; to design a waste-reducing uniform for The Langham Hong Kong and to visit John Hardy’s sustainable production facilities in Bali.
